New Year's resolutions:
So cliche, but lose weight. According to the doctor I saw this week, I have lost 15 pounds since he last saw me in July ‘09, but it doesn’t feel like it, and I’d love to lose 40 pounds before I go to college. Not likely, but we’ll see. Spend more time with friends and family. I’m leaving at the end of the summer for 4 years of my life spent somewhere other then...

Whenever I see a guy and a girl cuddling or holding hands, I’m like “awww, how cute”. But when I see two guys holding hands or cuddling or kissing, I’m like “fghkffjfhkhfkdkghfhfkgdkjf” *dies of cuteness overload*

Likes. Wintertime.
jumping into a steaming shower after running in from the freezing-cold outdoors the sight of a dog running to greet you with a doggy smile on its face getting a college acceptance letter in the mail putting on a warm, fuzzy sweatshirt that just came out of the dryer snowflakes falling at night when it’s so quiet you can hear them hitting the ground the sizzle of the food you’re...

Sleepover last night was amazing.
Went to a friend’s house for her birthday. “Slept” over, but didn’t sleep a wink. Played Never Have I Ever until the conversation degraded into listing liquors consumed (me: zilch) and sex acts performed (again: zilch. Am I really that much of a prude?) Decided at 4 am to go as a group to the nearby diner and get breakfast, leaving the two people who were already fast...

The lunar eclipse was spectacular.
Watching the shadow slowly creep across the pale, cratered surface, and seeing the moon turn a dingy, glowing orange was awe-inspiring and slightly chilling at the same time. I can see how ancient Mayans and other cultures who worshipped the moon could interpret an eclipse as the end of the world.

Misfits
I’ve almost caught up from the beginning since I started winter break. I LOVE it-new favorite show. The one thing that doesn’t seem plausible to me (well, besides the whole superpower/lightening storm thing) is that so many people are dying and no one seems that worried about it. I mean, there’s a new corpse almost every episode. Don’t you think the police should get a bit...
